SOLVING COMPLEX PROBLEMS

David Prowler founded Prowler, Inc. in 1999 to offer clients the benefit of over 30 years of leadership experience in the public and non-profit sectors.

After a dozen years of service to non-profit agencies including the Trust for Public Land and the Chinatown Community Development Center, Prowler served the City as a Planning Commissioner, Director of the Mayor's Office of Economic Development, and as the Mayor's Project Manager for the Giants Ballpark and Mission Bay. Prowler, Inc. clients have included the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the City of San Francisco, One Rincon Hill, SF State University, and many of the Bay Area's best developers.

They have relied on the experience and relationships the Prowler has built over the years.  The Clients and Portfolio pages show what we have built together.

Prowler, Inc. is dedicated to serving clients and projects that create legacies.

The firm's size and focus assure that clients get the attention they need and that projects are effectively managed to meet clients' goals.

Prowler’s clients and their projects don’t fit in a box and neither does the firm’s practice. Public agencies, landowners, developers, and institutions have turned to Prowler Inc. to meet their needs. On the Testimonials page, you can read what they have to say.  On the News page, we present recent accomplishments.

David Prowler is one of the few people I know whose professional focus is the shaping of San Francisco’s landscape and who hasn’t succumbed to cynicism. He loves the city, and he loves trying to make things happen.

JOHN KING, URBAN DESIGN CRITIC, SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE

If it weren’t for David’s leadership within City Hall, we’d probably still be negotiating and entitling Mission Bay…his commitment to the deal helped to solidify community support.

David’s relationships and his ability to lead us through the entitlement process were key to the success of our projects.
