Zen-Inspired Senior Living Community

Site: Healdsburg, California

Client: San Francisco Zen Center/Kendal Corporation

Role: Project Manager

This senior community, to be located on 15 acres in Healdsburg California, will offer residents spiritual and practical tools to age together: 220 independent living units (20 for retired Zen teachers), 30 assisted living units, and 24 memory care units along with a meditation hall and classes and dining inspired by Greens Restaurant.

On behalf of the San Francisco Zen Center, Prowler managed pre-development activities through creation of a partnership with Quaker-based Kendal Corporation.
